Overview

We are looking for an experienced neurological Physiotherapist to join our team providing client-specific Physiotherapy services to clients with spinal cord, brain injury, stroke and many other Neurological conditions throughout the Midlands and the Wider UK.

Days and hours are flexible. This would suit an experienced neurological therapist looking for part-time hours and flexibility to suit their lifestyle, or as an adjunct to other part-time employed work.

Requirements and Conditions:

Hold a professional qualification in Physiotherapy (Bsc or Msc)

To comply with HCPC and CSP codes of conduct

To work with patients/carers, family members, case managers, Legal professionals and other multi-disciplinary colleagues to provide Physiotherapy services in line with agreed provision

To attend supervision with your clinical supervisor to support your work

To be a car owner to enable travel between locations and to hold a clean licence and be covered by business insurance

To hold a DBS and be registered with the update service

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Senior Neuro Physiotherapist to join our rehabilitation team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients to improve their physical function and quality of life. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about patient care and rehabilitation, particularly in an intensive rehabilitation setting.

Duties

Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and needs.

Develop and implement individualised treatment plans based on patient assessments.

Utilise various therapeutic techniques and modalities to aid recovery.

Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and rehabilitation processes.

Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with medical standards.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.

Stay updated on advancements in physiotherapy practices and medical terminology.

Qualifications

A degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification.

Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.

Experience managing and supporting staff is desired.

Experience in a rehab environment is preferred; experience with paediatrics is an advantage.

Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and education.

Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
